One of more things which motivates me passing my Education major is how to be the agent of change. I know that to be good youth must have a good personality, good character, etc, and it can be reached by knowledge in any educational fields.
Islam (through Al-Quran) already mentioned how Islam could increase the 'darojah' as a Muslim by his knowledge (al-Mujadilah, 11). In my country especially, as the second Large Muslim over worldwide, Islam has roles to change the character of Muslim himself through a good knowledge.
The things that we should change may by its education system. How could the curriculum puts the Islamic value inside the education (especially for whole Islamic Institutions), and how the teacher could be a role model for all his students. Because as we know, in Indonesia the Education system couldn't be average yet all over Indonesia's region.
I know it couldn't be easy for applying, but I just want to change all of it by giving a suggestion that sounded by my President (read: Joko Widodo), and he policied that all over the works could be realized if all elements could understand the concept of Mental Revolution which has 3 point of change: integrity, hard work and so work in togetherness.
And do you know? This concept also sounded since long time ago, since alquran revealed to our prophet Muhammad, exactly on Surah Ar-ra'd, ayah 11. And I believe through this concept I able to get so much inspiration how to increase whole Islamic Education System all over the Islamic Institutions by Islamic value.
